About NAREDCO Telangana

The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) was established as an autonomous self-regulatory body in 1998 under the aegis of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt of India.

NAREDCO was visualised as a single platform where government industry and public would discuss various problems and opportunities face to face which would result in speedy resolution of issues. It was formed with the mandate to induce transparency and ethics in real estate business and transform the unorganised Indian real estate sector into a matured and globally competitive business sector.

NAREDCO Telangana (State Chapter)

Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers Association (APREDA) was formed in 1995 and later in 2014 on bifurcation of the state reorganized as Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (TREDA). Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (TREDA) later merged as the NAREDCO Telangana state chapter – NAREDCO Telangana in March 2022.

Marketing Development

The role of NAREDCO Telangana in the realm of real estate marketing is no less important. The association can be credited with streamlining the marketing process – a key input for the economy of the realty sector. NAREDCO Telangana through its property shows and other interfaces has facilitated conducive and informed buying options to the public, through transparency and well meaning initiatives. It has successfully brought all the stakeholders on a single platform and thrown open the doors for them to grow and gain mutually.

Additionally, NAREDCO Telangana also provides an efficient marketing channel, with the Property Shows, for developers, product suppliers and banks to be a part of this whole, big value chain. In effect, NAREDCO Telangana provides value to this important process through its credibility and leadership.

To this end Property Shows have been organised every year since 2010.

Knowledge Dissemination

NAREDCO Telangana has carved out a niche for itself in the dissemination of information and knowledge. The organisation’s monthly meetings, periodic seminars and workshops provide an insight of the industry, the shape of things to come and overall picture from the ground level. The experts and guest speakers at these events share their knowledge enriching the Members.

A quick look at initiatives in the past to enrich members’ knowledge on the latest trends and technologies. In 2010, the theme of the conference was “Green Buildings, Townships and Destination, Hyderabad” and in 2011 it was “Vibrant cities for vibrant economy – Galvanizing for action“. In the year 2012, in knowledge partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), (an international property consultant) organised a conference on “Real Estate – Accelerating the Growth Story”. In the year 2013, again in knowledge partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), organised a conference on “Staying Ahead in Real Estate – Innovative Construction & Understanding Taxation”. In the year 2014, in knowledge partnership with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), organised a conference on “Resurgent Hyderabad – Tomorrow Beckons”.

Additionally, study tours such as the visit in 2011 of a members delegation to the Canton Fair in China was a landmark. Participants of the tour were highly appreciative of the exchange of ideas and the first-hand experience they had from their visit to the asian giant. They all brought back pleasant memories of the trip. In june 2014, a Trade Mission to Turkey was organised for the Turkey World Trade Bridge / Fair (TWTB) 2014 which had a special focus on construction and construction materials, furniture and related machinery.
